ClerkMinutes can generate draft minutes for your meeting, and here’s how to do it:

Prerequisites

Minutes are tied to meetings in ClerkMinutes, and you need to have a meeting ready. Learn how to create a meeting.

Open the meeting page for which you want minutes.

ClerkMinutes needs 2 things to generate the minutes:

  1. Accurate agenda items: add an existing agenda or create agenda items in the Agenda tab;
  2. Meeting transcript: upload a recording of the meeting, which can be audio or video, to be transcribed in the Recording and Transcript tab. The recording should have good audio quality, all speakers and their speech should be easy to listen to and follow. Make changes as appropriate to the Transcript and you’re good to go.

Generate draft minutes

In the Minutes tab, scroll to the Generate draft meeting minutes section, that likes this:

Choose the options that fit best for the minutes you want:

After you’re happy with the options, click the “Generate draft minutes” button, and you’ll see the minutes start being written for you.

The minutes are written directly into a powerful document editor, and you can make any edits needed directly in the page.
